The Five: Tim Hartman Jr. Closing In On His First CDRA Title Holding Off Defending Champ Taylor Wason, Sophomore Sensation Tavien Blowers, and NOTY Contender Nick Brundige

FONDA, NY – Two of the most prestigious honors a driver can have bestowed upon them from the Capital District Racing Association are a ticket to title town and Newcomer Of The Year. Champ and the NOTY sounds like the beginning of a good racing book, but this Friday at Albany-Saratoga both will be determined in one of the most competitive fields of the season.

It’s time to hit race fans with the next to last edition of ‘The Five’ for Season Two (2025), as the JAM Performance and Consulting CDRA racing series presented by Elmo’s Speed Supply prepares for the Great Crate Race Friday night in Malta, NY at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. The event is also in conjunction with the DIRTcar Sportsman fall championship series.

Tim Hartman Jr: Big Time Little Tim has a small cushion over defending champ Taylor Wason heading into Friday night’s CDRA points championship finale. The Glenville, NY hot shoe has a 28-point leeway and needs only to finish 27th or better to secure the championship. That’s also contingent on the defending champ parking it in victory lane.

Taylor Wason: Speaking of the defending champ, Wason, the ‘Ultimate Underdog’, has defended his Season One (2024) championship valiantly. After claiming the points title without a win, and learning one of the Capital District’s top Sportsman Modified racers was on tour in 2025, he pushed himself to another level overcoming adversity, finding victory lane, and competing for another title.

Tavien Blowers: Last season ‘Taz’ finished 10th in final points after missing the Great Crate Race season finale at Malta. This year he’s stepped up his drive. He almost won the Rumble At The Ridge finishing second respectively, and has taken on the challenge of the great race place. He’ll be on hand Friday to secure his podium points finish if he can hold off the NOTY leader, Nick Brundige.

Nick Brundige: After getting some press for being the sure bet for Season Two (2025) Newcomer Of The Year, one fan commented a reply that read, “Yeah NOTY. Get it!” So, if we’re giving nicknames out, this young man is now known as Nick “NOTY” Brundige. And he’ll already have earned the honor soon as he signs in to compete Friday night no matter his result.

Zach Buff: Out of the top five, Buff is the only enigma. Last season he was a title contender finishing third in points missing only, the Valley race. This season, despite a tough opening points race, he was battling again for a podium points finish until he missed the Valley race. Zach is a legit title contender with the likes of Hartman and Wason, but needs to tame the lady of West Lebanon.

Hard Luck: It’s hard to say ‘hard luck’ when it’s a matter of attendance, but truth be told Connor Crane is another legit title contender if he were to show up and compete at the Ridge. The ‘cardiac kid’ was just 13 points behind the lead when he missed both CDRA points paying races at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park. He returned to tour with another solid run at Lebanon and is sixth in points.

UP NEXT FOR CDRA: Focus is solely on the only points paying event left for Season Two (2025). The Great Crate Race at Albany-Saratoga Friday September 19th as part of the DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Fall Championship Series. Someone will punch their ticket to CDRA title town Friday night.

Tavien Blowers Understands The Hustle And Is Building His Racing Legacy One Lap At A Time

08/24/25: Tavien Blowers takes hot laps at Glen Ridge during Rumble At The Ridge DIRTcar/CDRA event in August. (Showstopper Photo | CDRA 2025)

CAROGA LAKE, NY – Tavien Blowers has faithfully chased the CDRA series title for two seasons now. He’s a fresh face to the racing scene behind the wheel, but no stranger to the Capital District dirt track community. He’s coming off back-to-back top five finishes heading into Mr. Crate Track USA at Lebanon Valley where he looks to gain more valuable seat time.

The Caroga Lake, NY racer spent several years gaining racing experience through the go-kart ranks, which he eventually progressed into Sling Shot Racing. Then it was time, as Tavien made the move into open wheel Sportsman Modified racing where he’s quickly become a front runner weekly at The Ridge.

But it’s his aspirations and dedication to improving that makes him a quick success story. Following the JAM Performance & Consulting CDRA racing series presented by Elmo’s Speed Supply is a great way to gain valuable experience on vastly different and challenging track configurations. Something he admires about his favorites that inspire him to achieve his goals.

“Growing up it was hard not to be influenced by Stewart Friesen and his success,” Blowers started with saying. “But lately, I find myself looking up to guys like Jack Lehner and Alex Yankowski. They are young guns in the sport just trying to prove themselves, like me,” he continued.

Something that some folks may not know, is Tavien Blowers isn’t just admiring others and trying to draw inspiration from his fellow young guns’ success, but he also truly wishes good fortune upon them. Take for example his friend and DIRTcar Modified racer at Brewerton Speedway, Kyle Devendorf.

“My friend Kyle Devendorf has been helping me when I need it. He’s a young driver like me and has been really successful in his short time with Modified racing. He won a race at Brewerton already this year and I’m excited to see what the future holds for him,” Blowers said excitedly.

Tavien opened eyes during CDRA Season One (2024) finishing 10th in final point standings. He started five of the six scheduled events, with his best finish coming in the Montgomery County Brawl on July 28, 2024, when he finished second.

This season he’s back in the hunt once again building a legacy within the CDRA universe. He started the six race points chase with a pair of tough finishes at Albany-Saratoga, but pulled himself back into contention with a pair of top five finishes at Glen Ridge in this year’s Montgomery County Brawl and Rumble At The Ridge.

How Blowers got to where he is now, is a tale old as time. His pops had connections and brought his young padawan along to get a taste. Now, he has an appetite for acceleration.

Tavien explained, “My dad got me involved in racing. Remembering back we used to crew for the Romano’s and family friend Joe Rando on his Sportsman. From that point, I’ve always had love for the sport.”

And choosing the 43 branded number for the young hot shoe from the lake came down to a bit nostalgia mixed with owner input.

“I grew up racing using the number 44 or 1. So, when I got offered my Sportsman Modified ride the car owner (Mark O’Connor) wasn’t fond of 44. Then we just subtracted 1 from 44 and ran with 43. Plus, my teammate Tucker O’Connor is 42 so it worked out perfect,” explained Blowers.

One thing for absolute certainty, he has a bright future as a wheelman. He’s already had success, he’s not afraid to challenge himself, and he set obtainable goals. All can be achieved with hard work, dedication, and sacrifice sprinkled with a little bit of good fortune.

“Before I hang up the fire suit, I want to win a tour race (DIRTcar or CDRA) and compete for a track championship. Of course, I’d love to run a Big Block Modified if our program progressed to that level and we had the backing,” Blowers began saying about the subject.

He finished his thought saying, “Even if I ever had to hang up the helmet, I don’t think I could just walk away from the sport. I would find a role on someone’s team. I would want to stay involved in racing no doubt.”

An admirable young man fans should know. Once they do, they’ll find it hard not to cheer for the 43 to park it in victory lane. And when he does, which no doubt he will one day, he’ll have some folks to thank.

“I have a lot of people to thank. I’d like to thank my marketing partners O’Connor’s Towing and Automotive, Miracle Ear, Elmue Farms, New Image Lawn Care, Superior Modular Homes, Charlie Johns Store, Livingston Furniture, Oxbow Inn, and Executive Electric. They help get us to the track and I can’t thank them enough,” said Blowers about his financial supporters.

Tavien concluded by thanking family saying, “I can’t forget to thank my dad (Terry), mom (Jennifer), sister (Sadie), Uncle Chucky, Uncle Mike, and Uncle Sparky. I couldn’t do it without them and their support. And everyone else that gives a helping hand when needed. It’s a total team effort.”

Nick Brundige Has Emerged Front Runner For CDRA Racing Newcomer Of The Year Honors

08/21/25: Nick Brundige during hot laps at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. (Erin Rockafellow Photo | RPW 2025)

ROUND LAKE, NY – Nick Brundige is a blue-collar racer with limited experience in the driver’s seat of an open wheel Sportsman Modified. After just one season of Limited racing, he challenged himself to move up, and chase more seat time. In doing so he’s top five in CDRA racing points and in position to earn Newcomer Of The Year honors.

Efficiently known as the NOTY, it’s one of the top honors the JAM Performance & Consulting CDRA racing series presented by Elmo’s Speed Supply offers at seasons end. Currently, the Round Lake, NY racer leads fellow competitors Derrick McGrew Jr. and Michael Wagner-Fitzgerld for the honors.

What do race fans know about Nick Brundige? He’s not a household name just yet, but he’s working on building a name for himself and carrying on the family legacy in dirt track racing. His father DJ Brundige was a pretty good wheelman himself, so it was just natural Nick would find interest in following in dear old dad’s footsteps.

“I had never raced anything of my own before other than a friends go kart a couple of times until I started racing Sportsman last year,” Brundige began saying.

He continued with, “Growing up I was always going to Malta to watch my dad race. My grandfather raced too. But we’d travel to places like Devil’s Bowl and Glen Ridge also, so they were naturally favorite racers of mine. And a big reason I got involved in racing.”

During CDRA Season One (2024) Nick Brundige made two starts out of the six scheduled events, with his best finish being 19th during Malta Massive Weekend at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. It was worth 25th in overall points, which wasn’t bad for a Limited Sportsman regular competing among 108 drivers who earned points during the year.

Flash forward to CDRA Season Two (2025) and how things can change in a year. Brundige is currently 4th in series points in the thick of a title chase with the likes of Tim Hartman Jr., defending champion Taylor Wason, Glen Ridge champion Zach Buff, and Tavien Blowers. He’s coming off his best series finish to date of 4th and has a win in weekly racing at Malta.

His car number is 916, which his pops ran back in the day, but how many know that’s actually Nick’s birthday. And goals? He’s got goals that include one day maybe getting an opportunity to wheel a DIRTcar Big Block Modified.

“My goal is to one day have the experience and backing to get a Modified ride together. At some point in the future, when I feel I’m ready,” said Brunidge.

No question this young man has the passion to succeed. He’s got a fire burning inside to prove to his family, friends, and himself that he can race competitively on a consistent basis. For now, Nick is grateful for the opportunity to run his family-owned race rods around the Capital District.

“I would like to thank my sponsors Capital District Towing, along with Halfmoon Evergreen Property Maintenance, and Miller Motorsports. Their help is crucial to keeping us at the track,” Brundige said.

He concluded by saying, “I can’t forget to thank my dad for everything. His belief in me means the world. And I also can’t forget to thank my girlfriend, Riley. Everything she does to help with the car preparing for raceday and on raceday means a lot.”

For more information on Nick’s racing endeavors in and around the Capital District visit Brundige Family Racing on Social Media or see them weekly at Albany-Saratoga Speedway.

The Five: Tim Hartman Jr. Leads Diverse Group Of Talented Racers In CDRA Title Chase Including Wason, Buff, Blowers, and Brundige

08/10/25: Tim Hartman Jr. (22) and Taylor Wason (07w) race for qualifying position at Glen Ridge. (Jeremy McGaffin Photo | CDRA 2025)

FONDA, NY – Tim Hartman Jr. returned to Glen Ridge Motorsports Park for the first time in nearly 7 years chasing the CDRA title, and he emerged from back-to-back points paying races as top gun over defending champion Taylor Wason, Ridge top shoe Zach Buff, Caroga Lake sensation Tavien Blowers, and Newcomer Of The Year contender Nick Brundige.

This edition of the five finds a diverse group of racers rich in talent, feature wins, and title aspirations leading the way in the chase for the Season Two JAM Performance & Consulting CDRA racing points championship presented by Elmo’s Speed Supply. Let’s take a look at these drivers starting with CapitaLand’s hottest shoe, Big Time Little Tim.

Tim Hartman Jr: Glenville, NY racer Tim Hartman Jr. has been red hot in the Capital District for the past five seasons. He dominates Friday nights at Albany-Saratoga Speedway to the tune of victories and championships. Hartman backs it up Saturday nights by absolutely shredding the competition at Lebanon Valley Speedway. This season he holds the CDRA point lead by 22 with two races to go over defending champion Taylor Wason.

Taylor Wason: Speaking of the champ, he’s on the move. The Middlegrove, NY racer started the season admittedly struggling. Recent weeks have seen him turn adversity around to success. Sometimes being in the right place, at the right time, can be a blessing. Last Sunday at Glen Ridge, Wason finally earned his first career CDRA points paying win. A huge confidence booster for the entire team.

Zach Buff: Buff is a multi-time track champion at The Ridge, and multi-time winner at Albany-Saratoga. This season he has had a string of bad luck that has left him playing catch up both weekly, and on tour. Make no mistake, Zach can win at any track, and he’ll carry third place in points into Lebanon Valley for Mr. Crate Track USA with an opportunity to improve before Malta Massive Weekend.

Tavien Blowers: Caroga Lake, NY racer Tavien Blowers is still early in his open wheel career, but has made noise the past two seasons. A regular on the CDRA series, Blowers has multiple top five finishes highlighted by his recent runner up finish in the CDRA/DIRTcar Series Rumble At The Ridge, a race he was just three laps from winning. He’s in a point battle with a new guy on tour, but he’s up for the challenge.

Nick Brundige: That new guy giving Blowers fits, is Round Lake, NY racer Nick Brundige. He’s a CDRA kind of guy and has embraced the challenge of touring the Capital District this season. Brundige finds himself in the top five in points, and leads the Newcomer Of The Year standings. With two races left, he’s looking to lock up one of the series’ top honors.

Hard Luck: Giving a nod for hard luck isn’t easy. It’s not the recognition most drivers want, but it’s an acknowledgement of their efforts even though the bad luck bug bit and bit hard. It’s especially hard to give the nod for hard luck to the point leader who hasn’t finished outside the top four this year in points paying races. Say what? Hear us out.

Tim Hartman Jr. was the fastest car at Glen Ridge for the Montgomery County Brawl. On the clock he timed fastest, he won his heat, and had the pole for the main. Everyone figured it was a lock, TH2 to victory lane, party of 22. That was until the first lap, first turn, and he found himself facing the wrong direction. Had he made it clean and green through lap one, Tim may have had another dub.

UP NEXT FOR CDRA: The series heads to West Lebanon, NY for a big show at Lebanon Valley Speedway on Thursday August 28th. CDRA will be part of the Mr. Dirt Track Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series event with the highly anticipated return of Mr. Crate Track USA.

The Five: Connor Crane Moved Up To Fifth In Points Joining Chris Jakubiak, Tim Hartman Jr, Joey Scarborough, and Dylan Madsen Atop The CDRA Standings

7/30/25: Chris Jakubiak (49) & Zach Buff (01) race for position during the Flying Trowel 32 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. (Jeremy McGaffin / CDRA 2025)

FONDA, NY – The 2025 JAM Performance CDRA Racing Series points championship presented by Elmo’s Speed Supply is anyone’s title to win, with Chris Jakubiak, Tim Hartman Jr., Joey Scarborough, Dylan Madsen, and Connor Crane with just 13 points separating the top five in current standings. The question is, who wants the Capital District crown more?

Sunday August 3rd CDRA visits Glen Ridge Motorsports Park for a points paying race that’s part of a huge DIRTcar Sportsman championship series event. Presented in part by Hayes Trucking & Excavating, the race will offer $1,500 to the Sportsman Modified victor for a 40-lap triumph. Racing will consist of hot laps, time trials, heat races, and last chance qualifiers to set the starting field.

Rumble At The Ridge will be the third appearance for CDRA points paying races for the Fultonville, NY dirt racing facility, with previous series winners including Cody Ochs and Zach Buff. Both drivers are looking to get back into championship contention, but let’s talk about the top five drivers for a moment.

Chris Jakubiak: Ballston Spa, NY racer Chris Jakubiak is consistent in 2025 on the CDRA series. He has two podium finishes to his credit in two races, including a big win in the season opening Spring Showdown at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. If time permits, this title contender could make his first ever appearance at Glen Ridge on Sunday with hopes of holding onto the point lead.

Tim Hartman Jr: Glenville, NY’s Tim Hartman Jr. is arguably the hottest Sportsman Modified talent in the game today. Big Time Little Tim is fresh off a huge CDRA win in the Flying Trowel 32 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway and is just one point behind leader Jakubiak. And now, back-to-back races at Glen Ridge, a track he has visited victory lane means we could see a new point leader Sunday night.

Joey Scarborough: Lil’ Bandito they call him. Bennington, VT racer Joey Scarborough is a title contender with two wins to his credit on Friday nights in weekly competition. Currently he sits third in CDRA point standings, a mere eight points behind the top spot. With few or no laps at The Ridge, he’ll have to grind it out back-to-back Sundays on the fastest quarter mile to contend for the title.

Dylan Madsen: He comes from a long line of championship lineage and carries one of the most famous names in dirt racing on the side of his number 89 Bicknell Racing Chassis. Spencertown, NY racer Dylan Madsen is currently fourth in CDRA points just 11 points behind the point leader. He’ll have to turn his first laps at Glen Ridge, but no question he’s a winner and contender.

Connor Crane: He’s called Little Crane, but races like a giant. Connor Crane from Canaan, CT has claimed victory in weekly competition under the Friday night lights at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. He sits fifth in CDRA points just 13 behind the point leader and he’s also in contention for Newcomer Of The Year. Crane will have to venture to Rumble At The Ridge for a ticket to title town.

Hard Luck: The nod for Hard Luck has to go to Malta, NY racer Jon Miller. The Lazzaro’s Auto Body driver was seventh in points heading into the Flying Trowel 32 and appeared to be on his way to a solid finish running second in the event. That was until his left rear wheel came off the car and ended his night. Miller has fallen to 12th in series points and it’s unsure if he’ll make an appearance at Glen Ridge for the rumble.

UP NEXT FOR CDRA: Focus shifts to Glen Ridge Motorsports Park for a DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Championship Series event on Sunday August 3rd that also doubles as a CDRA points paying race. DIRTcar hot shoes collide with Capital District’s best for a Rumble At The Ridge.

CDRA is a nostalgic throwback to the CVRA days. A series designed specifically for Capital District racing. Season two schedule consists of a diverse schedule at storied dirt tracks like the great race place, the fastest quarter mile on dirt, and the valley of speed. CDRA Begins Grueling Month Of August Racing Thanks To Mother Nature Going Back-To-Back At Glen Ridge Followed By Lebanon Valley

FONDA, NY – Mother Nature didn’t do anyone favors this season with many events getting forced to cancel or reschedule. The JAM Performance CDRA Racing Series presented by Elmo’s Speed Supply wasn’t immune to rain delayed events, and now the chase for the 2025 Capital District Crown enters a Grueling mini ‘hell tour’ scenario that began Friday at the great race place.

The Montgomery County Brawl scheduled to be part of a co-promoted event at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park along with DIRTcar East Series racing, was washed out sadly. CDRA officials worked with Ridge officials to reschedule the event to Sunday August 10th. That sets up a unique situation for all involved going forward this season.

One week prior to the rescheduled Montgomery County Brawl at Glen Ridge is the originally scheduled Rumble At The Ridge, which was set for Sunday August 3rd at the beginning of the year. It is part of the DIRTcar Sportsman Fall Series event at the fastest quarter mile on dirt. But that’s not where the CDRA’s mini ‘hell tour’ ends.

Just two weeks after the Rumble At The Ridge CDRA/DIRTcar Sportsman Series event is the highly anticipated return of Mr. Crate Track USA at Lebanon Valley Speedway on Thursday August 28th. It’s part of the Super DIRTcar Series Mr. DIRT Track USA event, which is one circled on a driver’s schedule in the spring as one of the most challenging events of the season.

So, when put together you have CDRA points paying races July 25th (Flying Trowel 32 at Albany-Saratoga Won By Tim Hartman Jr.), August 3rd (Rumble At The Ridge at Glen Ridge), August 10th (Montgomery County Brawl at Glen Ridge), and August 28th (Mr. Crate Track USA at Lebanon Valley). 4 points paying races in 5 weeks will test drivers and their will to win the Season Two (2025) championship.

After two races Chris Jakubiak leads the point standings with 206 and a win, but is just one point ahead of Tim Hartman Jr. who also has visited Scott Duell Marketing & Designs victory lane. Bennington, VT racer Joey Scarborough sits third in points with 198, with Dylan Madsen of Spencertown, NY fourth with 195, and Canaan, CT young gun and Newcomer Of The Year contender Connor Crane in fifth with 193.

“It’s crazy how it worked out, but we had to do it so we could get drivers at least six races for points and leave us as a series some space just in case we need to reschedule events prior to our season finale on September 19th during Malta Massive Weekend,” said competition director Rob Hazer.

UP NEXT FOR CDRA: Focus shifts to Glen Ridge Motorsports Park for a DIRTcar Sportsman Series event that doubles as a points paying race for CDRA competitors on Sunday August 3rd for a Rumble At The Ridge.

CDRA is a nostalgic throwback to the CVRA days. A series designed specifically for Capital District racing. Season two schedule consists of a diverse schedule at storied dirt tracks like the great race place, the fastest quarter mile on dirt, and the valley of speed. Drivers who do travel the Capitaland will earn hardware and some green for their efforts.

Title Town Is Home To The Bold And Not Everyone Is Cut Out To Chase A ‘Chip

FONDA, NY – The unknown. It drives race fans crazy. For the JAM Performance & Consulting CDRA series presented by Elmo’s Speed Supply it’s part of the allure. Who’s chasing, who isn’t, and boy, do we thrive on shakeups in the standings. Let’s look at a few names who may or may not chase the ‘chip in 2025, as we head into the Flying Trowel 32 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway.

Pat Jones is currently 8th in CDRA points after a respectable run back in April for the Spring Shootout opener at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. Recently in weekly action, Jones has been MIA. The Voorheesville, NY racer has turned most of his laps at one track, so if he’s unknown weekly he’s certainly unknown for chasing a ticket to title town.

Cody Ochs was a title contender last season until circumstances kept him out of the Lebanon Valley race. This season the Rensselaer, NY racer is behind the wheel of the David Bosclair owned 02 full-time weekly. Could he contend for the title again? Absolutely. If he puts together runs at the Ridge and Lebanon Valley, he’ll be a contender.

Bryce Breault would be a great CDRA storyline should he chase the championship in 2025. The Queensbury, NY racer has spent a majority of his young career at one track. Should he choose to chase a couple races being at Glen Ridge and Lebanon Valley to go along with his top 10 runs at Albany-Saratoga, then it’s safe to say he’d be in contention for the title.

Looking outside the current top 10 in CDRA points we find drivers like Scott Towslee who could earn Newcomer Of The Year, Daryl Nutting who has the potential to contend for the title, young hot shoe Derrick McGrew Jr. who could earn both the NOTY and punch his ticket to title town, Zach Buff who is looking to rebound from a tough run in the Spring Shootout, and many more. The question remains, who is going to be season two champion?

UP NEXT FOR CDRA: Back to Albany-Saratoga Speedway for another points paying race as Sportsman Modified racers compete on Stan Da’ Man night. 32-lap main event paying $1,320 to win for the second of three points paying races on the CDRA schedule at the great race place.

Driver Spotlight: Jon Miller Point Contender

MALTA, NY – Jon Miller had been on tour before when he chased the King Of Dirt Racing series crown. With multiple CDRA top 10 finishes and wins at the great race place, Miller has the ability to compete at a high level. Now he has an opportunity to earn a CDRA ‘chip driving his Lazzaro’s Auto Body, Halfmoon Evergreen Property Maintenance, and Rensselaer Honda Bicknell Racing Chassis number 12.

Miller was part of the highly competitive three-wide Spring Shootout at Albany-Saratoga Speedway back in April, where he ended up finishing 7th respectively. He’s got laps at both Lebanon Valley and Glen Ridge, so could Jon Miller contend for the JAM Performance & Consulting CDRA series title presented by Elmo’s Speed & Supply? We believe he could.

Driver Spotlight: Dylan Madsen Point Contender

6/19/25: Dylan Madsen sits fifth in the CDRA point standings heading into the next points paying race. (Jeremy McGaffin Photo | RPW 2025 ©)

SPENCERTOWN, NY – Dylan Madsen has just the right amount of confidence to make him a threat to win any time he unloads his race rod. He has the potential to park his Madsen Overhead Doors, Riberdy Contracting, and Four-Star Transmissions Bicknell Racing Chassis number 89 in victory lane.

Madsen had a spirited run at Albany-Saratoga back in April during the Spring Shootout, and when the checkered flag flew, he found himself with a solid top five finish. The Spencertown, NY hot shoe is just 6 points out of first place in the standings currently. He’s logged laps at Lebanon Valley, but trips to the Ridge might be new territory for the 89. Madsen without a doubt could contend for the JAM Performance & Consulting CDRA series title presented by Elmo’s Speed & Supply.

Driver Spotlight: Tim Hartman Jr Point Contender

6/18/25: Tim Hartman Jr. sits fourth in the CDRA point standings heading into the next points paying race. (Erin Rockefeller Photo | RPW 2025 ©)

GLENVILLE, NY – Tim Hartman Jr. has two CDRA points paying wins to his credit with one coming at Albany-Saratoga, and one at Lebanon Valley. He’ll contend for another in his Kick Fly’s Quality Hemp Products, Bemiss Trucking, and Midtel Innovative Solutions Mike Parillo owned DKM Cyclone Chassis number 22.

Hartman earned a 4th place finish in the Sportsman Modified Spring Shootout at Malta back in April and was set to return to the Ridge for the first time since 2018 before the rain delayed the June 1st event. His wins last season catapulted him into the top 10 in final standings. This season he’s a perennial contender for the title considering he’s been to victory lane at all three JAM Performance & Consulting CDRA series tracks presented by Elmo’s Speed & Supply.
