ABOUT CDRA

CDRA (Capital District Racing Association) was developed and dedicated to rewarding Sportsman Modified drivers at dirt racetracks in the Capital District of Upstate New York with a like-minded set of division rules.

The Capital District consists of 11 counties, which include Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren, and Washington according to the Albany Times Union.

Capital District, also referred to as Capitaland has four dirt racetracks residing within its geographical designation including three who currently share like-minded rule packages.

The CDRA is simple in concept; drivers will have designated points paying events at Capital District tracks with like-minded rules to chase a points championship and monetary rewards. The point system used is developed by Rob Hazer, which has been tried and proven to provide a dramatic title chase.

CDRA operates with a ‘hands off’ approach relying on knowledge, experience, and cooperation of the like-minded tracks and officials involved. Drivers simply show up to the specific designated CDRA points paying races, compete, and vie for the title. It’s that easy. Get in there, championships favor the bold. 🏆
